I wrote a post a few weeks back begging the question “what happened to jump the shark?” Though TVGuide decided to turn what was an exceptional online community into Garbagefest 2009, another fan of the site decided to take the situation into their own hands and developed an awesome re-creation — BoneTheFish.com
Still new to the scene, this site brings all the same great features you used to see on JumpTheShark.com, but I’d argue the interface is a little cleaner with Bone The Fish. They don’t have every show listed as of yet, but if your favorite show isn’t there, you can submit it with a suggestion of when it Jumped The Shark, errr, Boned The Fish. While the actual term itself, “bone the fish” may never be part of our everyday vernacular like the term “jump the shark” became, the creators are doing a great job bringing back the greatness that was Jump The Shark.
Go check them out and sign up if you get a chance. You’ll notice there aren’t too many shows submitted yet, but with a community effort we can certainly help bring back an internet classic!

The BTF site sucks monkey cunt! It will never match the JTS site due to its poor layout and draconian registration policies. Just another lame website waiting to die. You’re an idiot for wasting so much time on this and you should get back to work (if you even have a job) or at the very least move out of your ugly mother’s basement.

When you work for your soulless corporate masters, do you get health benefits with that, or is it a contract labor pay for work model to act like a jackass on Mike’s page. You Boned the Fish as soon as you praised Jump the Shark, a model for corporate sellout of something that was once an icon of coolness.
